Op vraag van de minister ontwikkelde de Vlaamse Stichting Verkeerskunde (VSV) een grootschalig project: SMS. SMS staat voor ‘Slimme Mobiele Scholen’ en wil verkeer en mobiliteit integreren in het secundair onderwijs.
Het project werd in het Concertgebouw Brugge voorgesteld op het achtste Vlaams Congres Verkeersveiligheid.
