Er stonden duizenden gelovigen voor het tempelcomplex in het district Pratapgarh. De leider van een hindoesekte, Kripaluji Maharaj, had immers een gratis middagmaal beloofd.
Maar toen een schuur in de tempel instortte, ontstond een massale paniek. Er zouden al minstens vijftig doden zijn gevallen, zegt de lokale politie.
