In de centraak gelegen Nigeriaanse stad Jos werden drie dorpen van de minderheidsgroep Berom aangevallen door de West-Afrikaanse Fulani's.
Daarbij vielen al zeker 500 doden. Bijna honderd mensen werden gearresteerd.
Etnisch geweld komt vaak voor in de regio rond Jos.
