De meeste gewapende overvallen (30 procent) gebeuren in het Brusselse. Daarna volgen Luik (15 procent), Charleroi (13 procent) en Antwerpen (acht procent).
Juweliers
De overvallers hebben het meestal gemunt op kleine handelszaken (450 feiten in 2009, maar ook apothekers (190 feiten) zijn in trek. De populariteit van banken is flink afgenomen.
In 2009 waren 33 juweliers het slachtoffer van een gewapende overval. In 2010 zijn er dat al zeker twintig.
