Op de spoorlijn tussen Leuven en Sint-Niklaas is zondagavond omstreeks 20.20 uur ter hoogte van Boortmeerbeek een auto onder een trein terechtgekomen. Dat meldt spoorinfrastructuurbeheerder Infrabel.
Het treinverkeer op de lijn is onderbroken, maar er wordt een vervangende busdienst ingelegd.
