Volgende week maandag, 18 februari, zullen de journalisten van de Britse omroep BBC het werk voor 24 uur neerleggen. Dat laat de journalistenvakbond weten. Aanleiding zijn de tweeduizend jobs bij de openbare omroep, die de komende vijf jaar zouden verdwijnen.
Komende vrijdag worden er al prikacties gehouden, tenzij de directie de plannen voor de ontslag intrekt.
