Een Belgische soldaat is plots overleden aan boord van het steunschip Godetia. De man bezweek aan een mysterieuze ziekte.
De 48-jarige man werd woensdag onwel aan boord van het schip. Hij werd almaar zieker en overleed donderdagavond. Het lichaam wordt zo snel mogelijk naar ons land gebracht waarna een autopsie zal plaatsvinden.
De Godetia vaart momenteel voor de Afrikaanse kust. De bemanning leidt Beninse militairen op.
