De Antwerpse assisenjury heeft Charly Theuns (39) schuldig bevonden aan doodslag op zijn cafévriend Eric Frédéricque (45).
Frédérique werd op 24 augustus 2008 letterlijk doodgeslagen in zijn appartement in Mechelen. Theuns woonde bij hem in. Beide heren kampten met een drugs- en drankprobleem.
Theuns zou zijn huisgenoot enkele stevige vuistslagen hebben verkocht die tot diens dood leidden.
