De 7,4 miljard euro (10 miljard dollar) die bestemd is voor de Noord-Koreaanse economie en infrastructuur komt vooral van Chinese banken en bedrijven.
Deze investering past in een reeks internationale inspanningen om het communistische Noord-Korea te doen onderhandelen over het atoomwapenprogramma.
