In de provincie Cordoba sleurde een vloedgolf verscheidene auto's mee. Een man en zijn nicht kwamen om in Aguilar de la Frontera. Een andere man stierf in Bujalance toen hij onder een ingestorte muur belandde.
Er is ook veel materiële schade. Tientallen huizen en straten staan onder water.
