De sluiting van de kerncentrale Doel 3 wordt met nog eens twee maanden verlengd. Ten vroegste op 1 december zal de reactor weer opgestart worden. Dat meldt GDF Suez op zijn website.
Doel 3 ligt sinds begin juni stil voor onderhoud. Daarbij werden problemen vastgesteld met het reactorvat, dat scheurtjes vertoont. Die scheurtjes worden momenteel geanalyseerd.
