Het gaslek ontstond bij werken op een terrein aan de Noorwegenstraat. De hulpdiensten zijn ter plaatse, maar volgens de eerste informatie raakte niemand gewond.
De brandweer besloot een perimeter van 200 meter in te stellen en de bedrijven in de zone te evacueren. Gasnetbeheerder Eandis zal het lek herstellen.
