Volgens SpiegelOnline.de werden de gegevens niet alleen uit de persoonlijke pc's van de politiemensen gewist maar ook uit alle e-mailaccounts.
Een van de politiefunctionarissen liet zich tegenover SpiegelOnline ontvallen dat hij een "grote doofpotoperatie" vermoedt.
