Uit het Ensorhuis in Oostende is de hoed van de Belgische schilder James Ensor verdwenen
De diefstal vond zondagnamiddag plaats, tussen 16 en 17 uur.
"We weten niet met zekerheid of Ensor de hoed ook ooit daadwerkelijk heeft opgezet", zegt de communicatieverantwoordelijke van Mu.ZEE. "De hoed had een grote historische waarde, veeleer dan een grote financiële waarde."
