Een houthakker van Roemeense origine is zaterdag rond 14.00 uur om het leven gekomen in Chiny, in de provincie Luxemburg. Hij werd verpletterd door de boom die hij aan het omhakken was.
De hulpdiensten hebben nog geprobeerd om het slachtoffer te redden, maar alle hulp kwam te laat. De politie van de zone Gaume heeft een proces-verbaal opgesteld.
