De Palestijnen werden in hun boot aangevallen door Israëlische helikopters en motorboten.
Twee lichamen werden al gevonden. De zoektocht naar twee andere vermiste passagiers gaat verder.
Het is nog niet duidelijk of het getroffen vaartuig een vissersboot was of dat het wapens vervoerde.
