Laura Van Rompuy, de dochter van Europese Raadsvoorzitter Herman Van Rompuy, is mama geworden van Lise. Het is het derde kleinkind voor de voormalige premier en Kamervoorzitter.
De trotse grootvader heeft het nieuws zelf verspreid op Facebook. Lise is 50 centimeter groot en stelt het goed. Van Rompuy heeft al twee kleinzonen: Lander (2008) en Jasper (2009). Lise is wel zijn eerste kleindochter.
