Pascal Piette, de cafébaas uit Luik die eind maart een hongerstaking startte tegen het algemene rookverbod in de horeca vanaf 1 juli, zet zijn actie tijdelijk stop.
De veertiger zegt te blijven strijden, maar plots zou John Dali, Europees Commissaris voor Gezondheid en Consumentenbescherming, met hem willen babbelen. Daarom last hij nu een korte pauze in.
Philippe Goffin, burgemeester van Crisnée, steunt Piette in zijn actie.
