Het was na een gesprek met de gevangenisdirectie dat Habran besliste om zijn hongerstaking stop te zetten. Volgens La Dernière Heure zou de directie toegegeven hebben om het regime van de man te versoepelen. Zo zou Habran nu toch een schrijfmachine en koffiezetapparaat mogen houden.
Habran zit sinds 1 april in de cel. In totaal verloor hij door zijn hongerstaking 9 kilo.
