De Egyptische president Moebarak stapt niet op en draagt de macht voorlopig niet over. Na zeventien dagen van volksprotest heeft de tiran, die al dertig jaar onafgebroken aan de macht is, eindelijk van zich laten horen. Het is af te wachten hoe de menigte op het Tahrirplein op de aankondigingen reageert.
