De gewezen Zuid-Afrikaanse president Nelson Mandela zou in een "permanente vegetatieve staat" verkeren. Dat meldt het persagentschap AFP. Mandela verblijft al enkele weken in het ziekenhuis van Pretoria, waar hij werd opgenomen met een longontsteking.
