De nieuwe covoorzitters van Ecolo Olivier Deleuze en Emily Hoyos zien af van hun parlementaire ontslagvergoeding. Hoyos heeft als voorzitster van het Waals parlement nochtans recht op 120.000 euro, Deleuze als fractievoorzitter van de Franstalige groenen in hetzelfde parlement zelfs op 150.000 euro overheidsgeld. Geld dat volgens Hoyos "beter voor iets anders kan dienen".
