De Amerikaanse president Barack Obama is klaar en bereid om "gerichte en beperkte" aanvallen uit te voeren op het Syrische regime, maar wil daarvoor eerst groen licht van het Amerikaanse Congres.
Dat heeft hij zaterdag gezegd. Op een akkoord binnen de VN-Veiligheidsraad wil hij niet wachten.
