De Oekraïense oppositie heeft het aanbod van president Viktor Janoekovitsj afgewezen. Hij had oppositieleiders Arseni Jatsenioek en Vitali Klitsjko (foto) voorgesteld de regering te leiden.
Onder luid gejuich van duizenden aanhangers eiste Klitsjko zaterdagavond nieuwe verkiezingen. Normaal gezien vinden die pas volgend jaar plaats.
