Palestina is maandag volwaardig lid geworden van de Onderwijs-, Wetenschaps- en Culturele organisatie van de VN. Dat heeft de Unesco bekendgemaakt.
In de Algemene Conferentie stemden 107 landen voor en 14 tegen terwijl er 52 onthoudingen waren.
