Paus Benedictus XVI zal zijn voormalige butler Paolo Gabriele wellicht pauselijke gratie verlenen. Dat heeft een woordvoerder van het Vaticaan zaterdag gezegd.
Gabriele, in de Vatileaks-zaak veroordeeld tot 1,5 jaar cel, is nog niet naar de gevangenis gebracht. Hij blijft onder huisarrest.
