Het nieuwe wetsontwerp zou de geheime dienst toelating geven op te treden zonder overleg met justitie of de politie. De oppositie trekt aan de alarmbel.
"Dit zijn praktijken uit de sovjettijd", aldus Gennadi Goedkov, van de partij Rechtvaardig Rusland. Volgens de oppositie krijgt de geheime dienst door de nieuwe regels onbeperkte macht.
