In heel wat skigebieden is er momenteel aanzienlijk wat lawinegevaar. Zeker buiten de piste is er heel wat kans op levensgevaarlijke lawines. De skiër uit onderstaande video had ook een lawine in de gang gezet, maar was deze iets te snel af.
