Er is dan toch geen historisch hitterecord gebroken in ons land, de 38,8 graden uit 1947 blijft de warmste dag ooit. Dat record hebben we niet gehaald, omdat er in de loop van de namiddag bewolking en wat wind kwam opzetten.
