Ook in Sint-Truiden dragen de mensen hun steentje bij. Zo worden op de markt de eerste Belgische tomaten verkocht voor tien euro per stuk. Het Rode Kruis gaat ook op pad om geld in te zamelen. De opbrengst gaat integraal naar de slachtoffers in Haïti.
