Het voertuig brandde uit op de markt van het dorp. Na de ontdekking rond half één bleven de hulpdiensten en de experten van het parket nog tot 7u in de weer om de zaak te onderzoeken.
Crimineel opzet is naar verluidt uitgesloten. Ofwel is de man al rokend in slaap gevallen, ofwel gaat het om zelfdoding.
