Een 39-jarige vrouw uit Duffel is maandag met steekwonden in de halsstreek en in kritieke toestand overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis. Haar toestand is stabiel.
Tijdens een ruzie stak haar ex-vriend, een vijftiger uit Lier, haar met een mes. Het slachtoffer, een moeder van twee meisjes, wist te ontkomen en werd opgevangen door de buren. De dader is nog voortvluchtig.
