De zes verdachten, de ouders, ooms en een tante van de misbruikte kinderen, zouden de voorbije jaren hun lusten hebben botgevierd tijdens uit de hand gelopen familiefeestjes.
De slachtoffertjes waren kinderen van zes maanden tot 4,5 jaar.
