In het Nederlandse Delft. Op 12 oktober 1954 ontplofte er, iets voor tienen 's ochtends, in de binnenstad een opslagplaats voor buskruit. Er vielen vele doden en de schade was enorm. Vandaag staat dit gebeuren in de geschiedenisboeken als 'De Delftse donderslag'.
Wel hete bliksems in deze fotospecial, maar explosief zijn ze niet. (SL)
