De eerste test om een voetbalwedstrijd op te nemen in 3D vond plaats op op 10 maart, tijdens Charleroi-Lokeren. De test, waarbij kijkers een 3D-bril moesten opzetten, was succesvol en wordt op de laatste speeldag van de play-offs dus herhaald.
Tests om te kijken of het 3D-effect ook waarneembaar was zonder een speciaal brilletje, zijn tot nu toe niet geslaagd.
