Smolders viel in de prijzen met zijn prent 'Petite anatomie de l'image'.
De hoofdprijs in Clermont-Ferrand, de 'Grand Prix' voor beste film, ging naar de Italiaanse prent 'Blue sofa' van Lara Fremder, Giuseppe Baresi en Pippo Delbono.
Het kortfilmfestival was aan zijn 32e editie toe. Volgens de organisatie waren er dit jaar 139.000 bezoekers, verspreid over acht dagen.
