De vrouw probeerde al langer een tweede kind te krijgen. Vorig jaar gaf ze nog toe dat ze verschillende keren een behandeling via in vitro fertilisatie geprobeerd had. Dat bleek echter geen succes.
Dion en Angelil hebben al een kind, de 9-jarige René-Charles.
