Ze stak een stuk papier in brand, gooide het in het konijnenhok en deed het hok op slot. Het konijn overleefde de brand, maar liep ernstige verwondingen op.
Toevallige voorbijgangers wilden nog ingrijpen, maar de vrouw deed het huis op slot, waardoor niemand nog binnen kon.
