Het Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi pakt uit met de duurste kerstboom ter wereld. Omdat de versiering bestaat uit juwelen is de boom maar liefst acht miljoen euro waard.
Met deze stunt wil het hotel zich onderscheiden van andere luxehotels in de regio en hoopt het ook een plaats te krijgen in het Guiness Book of Records.
De kerstboom is 13 meter hoog en wordt onder meer versierd met horloges, diamanten, edelstenen en parels.
