‘Expeditie Robinson’ komt niet meer terug op de Vlaamse tv, maar het format blijft wel behouden in Nederland. RTL Nederland heeft zelfs aangekondigd dat Evi Hanssen op post blijft als presentatrice, aan de zijde van Dennis Weening.
Dat RTL5 zou doorgaan lag voor de hand: in Nederland is het avontuurlijke spelprogramma een veel groter succes dan bij ons.
