Op de Pizza en Pasta Expo in de Franse hoofdstad Parijs wist hij zowaar Italiaanse rivalen van die prestigieuze titel te houden. Het deeg van Zaoui was naar verluidt voortreffelijk.
De Fransen eten jaarlijks zo'n tien kilogram pizza. Enkel de Amerikanen doen beter. De Italianen bezetten plaats drie.
