Ruim 2.500 leerlingen uit Vlaanderen, Nederland en Suriname deden mee aan de 9e editie van de Inktaap. Zij mochten de schrijvers beoordelen.
Naast Vuijsje en Verhulst, werd ook AKO Literatuurprijs-winnaar Doeschka Meijsing met haar boek 'Over de liefde' genomineerd.
