Regisseur George Lucas heeft, in aanloop naar de release van de volledige Star Wars-filmreeks op blu-ray in september, weer enkele wijzingen aangebracht in de films.
In 'Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace' wordt Yoda, oorspronkelijk vertolkt door een pop, vervangen door een digitale versie. Eerder gebruikte Lucas die techniek ook al in Episode II: Attack of the Clones'. Ook in andere filmdelen maakte Lucas al aanpassingen.
