Het lijkt er sterk op dat de groep met De Vijver, Sanoma en Corelio de tv-zenders VT4 en Vijftv gaat overnemen. De Luxemburgse radio- en tv-groep RTL trekt zich terug omdat het bod van de alliantie te hoog is.
Door de beslissing van RTL is de alliantie tussen De Vijver, Sanoma en Corelio de enige overgebleven kandidaat om de Vlaamse zenders over te nemen. De Vijver is de holding achter het productiehuis Woestijnvis.
De SBS-zenders VT4 en Vijftv worden verkocht door het Duitse ProSiebenSat.1. Sanoma heeft zowel in Nederland als in België het hoogste bod gedaan.
