Op het filmfestival van Cannes heeft de Franse acteur Jean-Paul Belmondo dinsdag een Gouden Palm gekregen.
De 78-jarige Belmondo kreeg de onderscheiding voor zijn hele carrière, onder minutenlang applaus. Op de gala-avond waren zijn meest intieme vrienden uitgenodigd, zoals actrice Claudia Cardinale.
