De 33-jarige Amerikaanse singer-songwriter Toby Sheldon gaf in vijf jaar ongeveer 70.000 euro uit aan plastische chirurgie om op zijn idool Justin Bieber (19) te lijken. Hij deed zijn verhaal aan de Britse tabloid Closer.
Verspreid over een half decennium liet Sheldon botoxinjecties en haartransplantaties doen, maar ook peperdure 'glimlachcorrecties'. "Het is zijn glimlach die Bieber zijn jeugdige uiterlijk geeft. Daarom liet ik mijn bovenlip meer naar boven halen en mijn onderlip ietsje opvullen", aldus Sheldon.
