Zo pas werd de oproep die de hulpdiensten vanuit Michael Jacksons verblijfplaats ontvingen, vrijgegeven. Uit de geluidsopname blijkt dat de popster bewusteloos was en niet reageerde op mond- op mondbeademing of hartmassage. Volgens de man die de hulpdiensten belde voor Michael Jackson, was cardioloog Conrad Murray de enige getuige van wat er met de popster gebeurd is.
