De nieuwste film van Uma Thurman heeft de twijfelachtige eer om door de Britse pers uitgeroepen te zijn tot 'moeder van alle flops'. 'Motherhood' haalde in het openingsweekend in Groot-Brittannië slechts 100 euro op. Het absolute dieptepunt was zondag, toen werd slechts één kaartje verkocht.
Uma Thurman speelt in 'Motherhood' een moeder van middelbare leeftijd die een hectische dag beleeft. Naast Thurman zijn ook Jodie Foster en Minnie Driver in de komische film te zien.
