Ellen Pieters zal in de huid kruipen van de vertolkster van het Nederlandse levenslied, die in 1998 overleed.
De Zangeres, dat is de naam van de musical, gaat eind 2011 in première in Amsterdam.
De Zangeres Zonder Naam (rechts op de foto) heeft maar liefst 550 nummers gemaakt. 'Mexico' blijft echter dé klassieker.
