De New Kids spreken nu ook Duits. Hun film 'New Kids Turbo' is nu ook te zien in de Duitse bioscopen. Het is de eerste keer dat een Nederlandse film zo'n succesvolle release kent in Duitsland.
De New Kids hebben de Duitse teksten zelf ingesproken. "Wij vinden de Duitse versie nog grappiger", aldus regisseurs Steffen Haars en Flip van der Kuil.
De film rond de hangjongeren in het Brabantse dorp Maaskantje heeft in Nederland ruim 1,1 miljoen bezoekers getrokken.
